When in 1897 Kaiser Wilhelm II unveiled the monument to his father Frederick III in front of the Hotel Nassauer Hof in Wiesbaden, the hotel had been renowned to be an “elegant luxury hotel of unique splendor” for several decades. Kings, princes, dukes and other European nobility as well as the rich and famous of the time used to stay at the Nassauer Hof – such as Russian novelist Fyodor Dostoevsky.
Then as now, celebrity guests feel at the Nassauer Hof like in a second home.
